Challenges and goals
Ziel des Projekts „Battery Cell Technology“ (BCT) ist es, die Voraussetzungen für die nächste Generation der Lithium-Ionen-Batterie (Solid-State-Batterie, SSB) hinsichtlich Markteinführung zu schaffen. Dazu gehört die Entwicklung von Produktionsprozessen für diese Festkörper-Batterie-Zellen, um eine Fertigung in Deutschland wirtschaftlich und nachhaltig zu ermöglichen. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, werden in dem Vorhaben neue Materialien untersucht und neue Zelldesigns entwickelt.
