Challenges and goals
Ziel des Projektes „ZiMaBat“ ist es, die erstmalige Demonstration einer wiederaufladbaren Zink-Mangan-Batterie (ZMB) im neutralen bis leicht sauren Elektrolyten mit mindestens 50 Lade/Entlade-Zyklen im AA-Format zu realisieren. Die wiederaufladbare ZMB soll eine mit etablierten Technologien, wie Blei/Gel, NiCd, und NiMH, vergleichbare Energiedichte erzielen.
